The Duke’s death a few days ago, has seen members of the British Royal family paying their tribute to the late Prince Philip, and the latest to have done this is no other than, Princess Eugenie.

Prince Eugenie while reacting to Duke’s death, promised to take care of her grandmother, and wife to Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth in her emotional post. She said: ‘Dearest Grandpa, We all miss you. ‘You would be so touched by all the tributes that have been shared with me the past few days.

‘People remember sitting next to you at a dinner, or shaking your hand once, who remember you saying hello in passing, or remember how much their DofE award meant to them. ‘I remember learning how to cook, how to paint, what to read. I remember laughing at your jokes and asking about your spectacular life and service in the navy.

‘I remember incinerating the sausages and you swooping in to save the day. I remember your hands and your laugh and your favourite beer. ‘I will remember you in your children, your grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

‘Thank you for your dedication and love for us all and especially Granny, who we will look after for you. ‘With all my love Eugenie.’

She shared a photograph on Instagram showing her and sister Beatrice watching the racing from the balcony of the Royal Box on Derby Day in 2012. It comes after Prince Philip died aged 99 on Friday, two months before his 100th birthday.

Eugenie, 31, is one of the duke’s eight grandchildren. She gave birth to her first child just weeks ago.

The Duke’s death came as a shock to many, and leaders around the world have expressed their condolences to the Queen and the people of the United Kingdom.

The date for his funeral has also been announced by the family.
