Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello home is broken into by yet to be identified persons, and Shawn’s G-Wagon was taken away.
The incident which happened this week, is one out of many home invasions that has been recorded by celebrities, as authorities are still investigating the issue.
The case of Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello is coming just weeks after that of Miley Cyrus, and the burglarized storage units belonging to Beyoncé, where she reportedly lost valuables worth over $1million.
The L.A. area storage units filled with Beyoncé goodies were hit twice by thieves earlier this month, and the culprits swiped her expensive handbags and dresses.
While the storage units are being rented out by her production company, Parkwood Entertainment, TMZ said sources have said the missing items from the first heist all belong to Queen Bey.
The sources also told TMZ that the burglars came back within a week, and took down 3 Beyonce’s storage units in the same facility, making off with handbags, kids toys and photos belonging to one of Beyonce’s stylists.
Miley reportedly suffered another break in at her storage unit in Los Angeles and had sentimental items including family photos stolen.
It was the second burglary the singer, 28, had suffered after thieves stole $10,000 worth of guitars from a different locker in December 2018.
According to TMZ which reported the home invasion, Law enforcement while speaking to the online news outlet, said the singers were home together in L.A. when the suspects broke in through a window. They also made a pretty quick exit when they realized the couple was home, but not before grabbing the keys to Shawn’s ride.
The sources also told TMZ that police were called and rushed to the house, but it was too late, as the suspects had already taken off in his Mercedes SUV.
So far no arrests have been made, but LAPD is still investigating.
