Krista Joiner has filed for divorce from her husband and rapper, Xzibit after being together for over 20 years.
According to the reports from TMZ and The Blast, Krista Joiner filed her divorce petition against Alvin Joiner aka Xzibit in Los Angeles Superior Court, but the full details of the case are yet to be made public.
It’s unclear if Krista Joiner is asking the “Pimp My Ride” host for spousal or child support. The available records do not state if the couple signed a prenuptial agreement.
The rapper has yet to file his response to the case.
Xzibit met Krista Joiner back in 2001 right before he was headed on a nationwide tour. He feared the tour would end their romance but she stayed by his side for over two decades. During their union, the couple had their kids Xavier and Gatlyn.
Sadly, Xavier was born prematurely and died eleven days after being born. Xzibit has another son Tremaine Joiner from another relationship.
The two had been able to get through a ton of financial and personal issues but it seems like they are ready to throw in the towel.
The rapper got in a bit of trouble the day after his 2014 wedding to Krista. Xzibit was arrested for driving under the influence hours after the two got married
The reception went down in Laguna Beach, California. The couple partied it up at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. A couple of hours later, the rapper was pulled over by law enforcement for speeding. The police claim he reeked of booze and took him into custody. It’s unclear if Krista Joiner was in the car with her new husband.
A couple of months later, Xzibit was charged with 2 counts of DUI. The paperwork says he blew a .14, which is twice the legal limit. The rapper eventually worked out a deal with prosecutors where he entered a plea of guilty in exchange for no jail time.
The rapper was ordered to 3 years probation and had to keep his nose clean. The case was eventually closed after he completed an alcohol education class.
Krista and Xzibit have not posted photos of each other on social media in some time.
