The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has paid a condolence visit to his counterpart in Delta State, Governor Okowa, over the death of Pa Arthur Okowa.
The Edo State Governor, had on Tuesday, led a delegation from Edo State on a condolence visit to the Delta State Governor over his father’s death. He prayed that God grants the governor, his immediate family and the people of Delta State the fortitude to bear the loss of his father, Pa Arthur Okowa.
Governor Obaseki who posted photos from the condolence visit on his official social media handle, captioned the photos with these words, saying:
“Yesterday, we were in Asaba, Delta State to condole with our brother and friend, Dr. @IAOkowa on the passing of his lovely and respected father. We also know that you also lost the majority leader at the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Tim Owhefere,” he said.
The patriarch Pa Arthtur Okowa died at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, after a brief illness. He was aged 87.
Pa Arthur Okowa was born in 1932 in Owa Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.
