Emmanuel Macron’s condition is said to be stable, two days after testing positive for coronavirus. The Presidency in France had said on Saturday, about their President.
According to the report by Reuters, the Presidency, in a statement giving an update on the health status of the French President, stated that Emmanuel Macron’s condition is stable, and the results of a medical examination is reassuring.
“The medical condition of the president is stable compared with … Friday. He presents similar COVID-19 symptoms which do not prevent him from fulfilling his obligations,” the presidency said in a statement.
Macron said on Friday he was doing fine a day after testing positive for COVID-19 but was working at a slower pace than usual outside Paris.
Macron was also reported to have paid visits to some European Union leaders, before it was announced that he has tested positive on Thursday. This has prompted a track and trace effort across Europe since the news broke.
