Ex-Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Odion Ighalo was on Monday named as one of the Manchester United 23-man squad travelling to Germany for their crucial Champions League game against RB Leipzig.
Odion Ighalo who has barely seen actions since renewing his loan contract with the Red Devils, has been given a nod in the team selection to face RB Leipzig, by Ole Gunnar Solskjae.
The 23-man squad to face RB Leipzig on Tuesday in the most-win game in Champions League group H game, was unveiled on Monday 7th December 2020.
Manchester United are in need of a draw in the game to secure a place in the knock-out stage, as PSG, Manchester United and RB Leipzig are all on nine points.
Manchester United will be without, Fred who is suspended and strikers Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial are also out with minor knocks sustained over the weekend against West Ham.
Axel Tuanzebe is back in the Champions League squad after missing last week’s home defeat to Paris Saint-Germain due to being banned for accumulating three yellow cards in the competition.
