Vimbai has paid a glowing tribute to her late elder sister, Belinda Mutinhiri, as she shared a throwback photo to mark the 4th anniversary of her death.
Belinda Mutinhiri died in September 2016 in a car accident in Harare, Zimbabwe. She was driving her friend Glorianne Francis home after an outing together, and while she died in the accident, Glorianne survived.
In marking her 4th anniversary, and on Thursday 3rd September 2020 being exactly 4-years since her passing, Vimbai took to her Instagram to share an adorable old photo of herself and her beloved late sister. The photo shows the two smiling and hugging and other solo photos of just Belinda Mutinhiri during her time overseas.
Vimbai who is now fully based in Nigeria after her marriage to her Nigerian boyfriend, captioned the photo with these words:
“Today marks 4 years since you took your last breath – we’re all still healing from your absence and the trauma that it comes with. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I’ve had someone to call to ask: ok, so what’s really happening 😂,” she started her tribute.
The ex-model and BigBrotherAfrica housemate, who is known to have had a close relationship with her sister, in her tribute, continued:
“I miss your messages: “my ster, focus on yourself and keep flying”. Miss Bee, today I want to celebrate your life and give thanks for the years God gave us with you because they were so precious. Not having you still hurts deeply because there is so much I would have loved to share with my big sister, but heaven needs you more than we do ♥️ I love you forever, may you Rest In Eternal Peace Belinda Tafadzwa Mutinhiri 😇,” she added.pp
