Twitter has finally yielded to the public outcry on the social media shenanigans of British extreme-right-wing social commentator, Katie Hopkins, as the women who once shared fake news about Nigeria, got her twitter account suspended permanently by Twitter.

Although it took Twitter ages to finally take down Katie Hopkins Twitter account, after they faced criticism for not responding and taking actions for spreading hate on the app. But the move has been welcomed by millions of Twitter users.
According to the report by Evening Standard, a spokesman for Twitter while speaking on the suspension, said Katie Hopkins had violated their “Hateful Conduct” policy but it is unclear exactly what the circumstances were.
It comes just hours after she complained that her blue “verified” tick had been removed by the social media firm.
Hopkins had gained more than 1.1 million followers on the site and was repeatedly retweeted by US President Donald Trump.
The former contestant on The Apprentice forged a career as a commentator at several of media outlets, many of which she left after facing a severe backlash for views often focussed on immigration and Islam.
In January, Katies Hopkins was temporarily locked out of her Twitter account after anti-hate campaigners called for her to be removed from the site.
The group of campaigners including Countdown host Rachel Riley said it met with representatives from the social network, urging them to carry out a “full review” of her account.
At the time, the account was temporarily suspended for violating its hateful conduct policy and all of her tweets were deleted, apart from one retweet in which she was accused of inciting racial hatred towards rapper Stormzy, Evening Standard added.
But this time the social media site said she had been “permanently suspended”.
In a statement, a Twitter spokesman said: “Keeping Twitter safe is a top priority for us – abuse and hateful conduct have no place on our service and we will continue to take action when our Rules are broken.
“In this case, the account has been permanently suspended for violations of our Hateful Conduct policy.”
