South Africans seem to be saying they have forgiven one-time Grammy-nominated and AFRO-fusion star, Burna Boy after his electrifying performance on the remix of the hit song, Jerusalema.
The song Jerusalema which was originally done by South African, artiste, Master KG, also had Nomcebo Zikode on the remix. The remix of Jerusalema dropped on Friday 19th June 2020, and Africans are loving it so far.
The song which has swept through the African continent since it was released, saw the self-proclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy who some tagged the most ‘hated’ celebrity in South Africa, for his comments on Xenophobia, singing in Zulu, Yoruba, and the Nigerian pidgin English. He showed why he is regarded as the best musically, in Africa.
Since the remix dropped, both Nigerians and South Africans and especially South Africans have taken to the twitter street to react to the song. But much focus on the South Africans who have surprisingly welcomed the collaborations and are now talking about ‘forgiveness’ and moving forward with Burna boy, that they are even advising rapper, AKA to fight his won battle…lol.. Here are some of the reactions to the Jerusalema remix.:
@BantsHq: Good Afternoon… Are you going to listen to Jerusalema or you’ve not forgiven Burna boy yet! O you still plan on skipping his bit?
