EFCC Arrests One Boniface Oburuku For Stealing From A Mauritian

A 32-year-old man identified as Mr Boniface Oburuku ‘fake DSS Officer’ has been arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) for allegedly stealing a handbag.

According to the statement by the anti-graft agency, Mr Boniface Oburuku stole a handbag belonging to an international guest from the Republic of Mauritius. 

“The bag contained her two Samsung mobile phones, an international passport, United States Dollars, Nigerian and Mauritian currencies,” the agency said.

EFCC added that, Boniface Oburuku committed the crime on June 11th 2019, at an event organised by the EFCC to mark the year’s National Democracy Day and Anti-Corruption Summit at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. 

The event had in attendance, President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerian security chiefs, respected citizens and global leaders.
