The Governor of Anambra State, Governor Willie Obiano has expressed his sadness on the sad news of the death of Chief Sir Anthony Enukeme, whom he described as a great son of the state, and a pillar of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Governor Willie Obiano releasing a statement on Tuesday 9th June 2020, said:
“Adieu Chief Sir Anthony Enukeme, KSG, PhD We have lost a great son of Anambra State and a pillar of our Party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
Chief Anthony Enukeme was a man of peace, an astute businessman and an accomplished industrialist. He will be fondly remembered for his selfless service to his community, the Church, the State and to Humanity,” the governor said.
Governor Willie Obiano continued by adding that:
“I and my wife, and the good people of Anambra State will miss him dearly. We pray for the peaceful repose of his soul and the comfort of his family in this sad and trying time. Go well fellow brother”.
The cause of death of Chief Anthony Enukeme was not made public but from us here, we say may his soul rest in peace.
