The first official wedding portrait of Zimbabwean beauty, Vimbai Mutinhiri and her Nigerian husband, Dru Ekpenyong as newlyweds have been released.
The One-time Big Brother Africa housemate, and famous talkshow host, Vimbai Mutinhiri and her husband who married some days back, looked stunning as they pose for the cameras at their beautifully transformed garden, in images that Vimbai Mutinhiri posted on Instagram a few hours ago.
“Foreveryoung2020” she captioned the first snap which shows the blushing bride and groom at the beautiful garden.
Vimbai Mutinhiri, 33, had kept uncharacteristically quiet about the nuptials and hadn’t posted any photos of her wedding until two days after the celebrations, which we also shared on this page. But she had captioned her latest post of series of her wedding photos with:
“Our official portraits!! And here’s to thousands of more hours of binging on Netflix, pretending to be awake when I fell asleep within 10 minutes of a movie, fit fam recipes, Fitbit steps and midnight snacks ♥️🎉🎊 #ForeverYong2020 📸: @i_am_oti Set design: @uwayensevents_bridal” she said.
According to Vimbai Mutinhiri who is now Mrs Ekpenyong, the ceremony was just a court registry, which she tagged ‘part-1’ as the main wedding, the real ‘Owambe’ where all her family members and friends will be expected to gather to celebrate her and her husband, will soon be held, but she did not give a date.
Vimbai Mutinhiri in one of the photos she shared, where tears were rolling down her cheeks, captioned the moment with these words:
” If only tears could speak, these ones would tell such a powerful story of how no matter what – God has a plan! Only He knows how a girl from Harare, ended up in the loving arms of a Prince in Calabar. The journey has been colorful and eventful, but by His grace we are ushered into a new chapter. What a testimony – that in every story – JEHOVAH has the final say ,” she said.
The former Miss Mutinhiri embellished in her lovely white wedding dress and a fascinator to match, as she smiles all through the photos she shared.
She expressing her joy by thanking God for making everything possible, where she said:
“What shall I render to Jehovah, for He has done so very much for me ♥️ .
Part 1 / Court Registry done – social distancing compliant, but you know we had to add our touch to it (while we watch and wait for the coast to clear for us to have the dream celebrations we spent months planning) Thank you to all who have shared their words of encouragement, their prayers and their well wishes!! We are so grateful to be blessed with so much love #TheEkpenyongs #ForeverYong2020,” she added
