The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 184 new cases of the coronavirus, as total cases as at Wednesday 13th May 2020, in Nigeria, rises to 4971 cases.
NCDC, in announcing the 184 new cases on their official Twitter handle on Wednesday 13th May 2020, stated that the 184 new cases, saw case distribution among some states across the country, as follows:
51 new cases were recorded in Lagos, 16 each in Bauchi and Katsina States, 23 in Jigawa State, 14 in Kano State, ten in the Federal Capital Territory and Rivers State, nine in Kwara State and five each in Delta and Kaduna State.
The tweet further revealed that four cases each were recorded in Sokoto and Oyo State, five three in Kebbi, Nasarawa and Osun State, two in Ondo State and one in Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Anambra, Plateau and Niger State
The 184 new cases see the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria as at Wednesday 13th May 2020, to 4971 and number of persons discharged so far as 1070 patients and 164 deaths recorded so far.
