Grimes and Elon Musk are explaining the meaning of the name they gave their newborn, baby boy, X Æ A-12 to curious fans who are trying hard to understand the meaning behind the name.
The “You’ll Miss Me When I’m Not Around” singer tweeted on Tuesday night, confirming the newborn’s name less than 24-hours after giving birth.
Elon Musk previously replied to a curious fan and revealed the X Æ A-12 name but fans were not sure if he was messing around. Grimes’ tweet puts that theory to bed and fully explained the name’s meaning and why they picked it
A curious fan’s theory guessed the name meant “X Ash Archangel” which wasn’t too far off but she cleared everything up in her social media post.

Her millions of followers were so thankful that she didn’t leave them guessing too long but some still had a hard time accepting the name
Grimes broke the news that she was expecting with a very graphic picture that featured her as a naked pregnant warrior back in January. Her hair was styled in long braids that brushed against her topless form. The artistic shot shows a shadow that resembled a baby growing inside her womb.
Elon and she began dating in 2018 and they took their relationship public by walking the red carpet at the Meta Gala that year.
