Davido is clearly having a tough time baby sitting in the absence of his fiance and mother of their child, Chioma, as he shares a photo of his tired looking self with their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke. The ‘If’ singer who captioned the photo praising mothers, said he is putting in shift, while his son and himself await the return of Chioma who is still in a quarantine facility after testing positive to the dreaded coronavirus.
Since posting the photo and the caption, he has been getting alot of praises for helping out while Chioma recovers from the virus. This will also not be the first time he will be sharing photos or videos of himself trying to help out with their child, and given his experience with his two older children, baby sitting for him should not be that difficult…well, the photo nad his caption of “Mothers dey try oo” seems to say otherwise…lol…
Davido had a few days ago taken to his social media to confirm that his fiancé and mother of his son, Chioma has tested positive to the coronavirus, and has been quarantined. This comes a few days, after she and their son returned from London, the singer had said.
The singer who also recently returned to Nigeria after cancelling his tour in America, said none of them is showing any symptoms of the virus, after confirming the status of his fiancé, but had said he has decided to go into self-isolation for 14-days.
Davido took to his social media on Friday 27th March, where he said:
“Hey everyone! I came back recently from America after canceling the tour. My fiancé Chioma also came back from London recently with our baby.
“We had no symptoms and still both feel perfectly fine but because of our recent travel history, we decided to take ourselves and our all close associates we’ve come in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March,” he said.
He continued by saying:
“Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby.
“We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still yet to show any symptoms whatsoever.
“She is now being quarantined and I have also gone into full self-isolation for the minimum 14 days.
Davido stating further thanked his fans for the show of support while urging them to adhere to directives from the government and health officials, by staying at home so to control the spread of the virus. He said:
“I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your endless love and prayers in advance and to urge everyone to please stay at home as everyone to please stay at home as we control the spread of this virus! Together we can beat this! Love, D,” he added.
