WWE WrestleMania 36, which is the biggest and most important event in pro wrestling will now hold April 5th 2020, after due consultations. The event will happen without the fans at the venue due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement released on Monday, a spokesperson speaking about the initial cancellation, said:

“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place,” he said.

“However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view.”

“Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”

According to the report by TMZ, before now, there has been pressure on the organisers of WrestleMania 36 to cancel the event scheduled for the April 5 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida due to the coronavirus pandemic ,since it’s expected to attract more than 70,000 people!

Despite calls to postpone from local officials, WWE has not pulled the plug and fans around the world are wondering what Vince McMahon will do. This was before the new development that it will be streamed live for fans, just like what Dana and the UFC are doing.

Some of the match ups are #Undertaker taking on AJ Styles, and Kevin Owens taking on Seth Rollins.
