The Duchess of Sussex Meghan returns to the United Kingdom, a few weeks after she and her husband, Prince Harry ditched the senior royal duties to live a private life in Canada.
According to the report obtained from Evening Standard, both Meghan and her husband Prince Harry made their first appearance together since their big announcement at an award ceremony in London
The award ceremony which was the annual Endeavour Fund Awards at London’s Mansion House, saw the royal couple beaming with smiles as they stepped out of their official car.
They were there to honour the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who have taken part in remarkable sporting and adventure challenges over the last year, the report added.
Meghan who joined Prince Harry who has been in the UK for other activities, was all glam from her make up to her dress as she embellished herself in a fitting turquoise dress with blue suede heels and a gold earring. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail.
Both Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, presented an award and the prince made a moving speech. In recent years, they have taken part in the judging panel for the awards. They kicked off the evening by meeting the inspiring nominees and some of the key supporters of the Endeavour Fund at a reception.

“Good evening everybody — it’s very nice to be back,” Meghan said. “It’s the third year that I’ve had the incredible fortune of joining my husband here, and as you all know and can feel it is just the most inspiring space.”
In his speech, Harry addressed the servicemen and women in the room, saying: “I feel incredibly lucky to be able to count myself as one of you and I’m deeply proud to have served among you as Captain Wales. A lot of you tonight have told me you have my back, well I’m also here to tell you, I’ve always got yours.”
Although nothing has been said about Meghan, the Queen a few days ago, was reported to have assured Prince Harry, even though they are asking him to drop the title ‘Prince’ that he will be welcomed back whenever and if he decides to return as Royal.
The royal couple have been splitting their time between the U.K. and Canada with their son Archie as they prepare for their official royal exit at the end of the month
