Barcelona and Nigerian forward, Asisat Oshoala has reacted to winning yet another CAF Women Player of the Year award, after she was named African Queen in Egypt on Tuesday night.
Asisat Oshoala who has equalled the previous record set by Nkwocha, with four CAF Women Player of the year awards, on Wednesday 8th January 2020, took to her Instagram account to share a series of photos celebrating all her wins, as she captioned the photos with:
“4 times baby!!! Sometimes you forget to smell the roses along the way in life. I’m always the type thinking about my next move and never really stop and celebrate he things in between. This is such an amazing accomplishment and I’m extremely blessed to have been in this position to accomplish it. It’s a blessing to see the wonderful lives I’ve touched in my young life. I truly appreciate all the love. But there’s still work to do 💪🏾🤫🤫🤗🤗 #JointHistory #Hardwork #Grace,” she said.
Before her post on Wednesday, she had posted a message to thank fans and organisations for their role in her life, where she posted a message that reads:
“Grateful to be African Women’s Player of the year for the 4th time. Thank God, my Family, Friends and Fans for the support. Big shoutout to my club , my management , team mates at both national team and club level and of course thanks to @caf_online for the opportunity ❤️❤️🙏🏾”, she said.
