Rose McGowan Begs Iran Not To Attack U.S After Soleimani’s Death

Rose McGowan Begs Iran Not To Attack US After Soleimani's Death

Hollywood actress, Rose McGowan has sent out an apology tweets to the Iran authorities a few hours after U.S airstrike killed top Iranian military General, Qassem Soleimani. The #metoo advocate in her tweet condemned the actions of President Donald Trump as she expressed fears of a possible attack from Iran.

Rose McGowan took to her twitter handle to say:

“Dear #Iran, The USA has disrespected your country, your flag, your people,” she started.

“52% of us humbly apologize. We want peace with your nation. We are being held hostage by a terrorist regime. We do not know how to escape. Please do not kill us,” she added.

While Rose McGowan will not be the first to condemn Trump’s actions in Iran, her tweet expressing fear and begging Iran not to retaliate after Iran said they will seek ‘harsh revenge’ have not gone down well with many, especially Americans. They have condemned her for her tweet, calling her a drug addicts, and other things.

Rose seeing that her tweet has not been well received, added another tweet where she said:

“I do no side with Iran, but I most definitely do not side with the USA,” she tweeted.

she added: “Of course #Soleimani was an evil evil man who did evil evil things. But that at this moment is not the f****** point. The United States is morally corrupt and acts illegally. It is only logical to appeal to Iran’s pride by apologizing. I’m taking one for the team.”

Trump had ordered a drone strike at the Baghdad airport in Iraq targeting the cars carrying Soleimani, the head of the Quds Force, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy head of the Iran-backed Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF). Both men, as well as the other passengers in the cars, died on impact.

The death of Soleimani, who was responsible for carrying out deadly proxy attacks in the Middle East, becomes a major escalation in tensions between Iran, and the United States and its allies in the area.

Trump aleady mocked a possible #worldwar3 saying Iran in their history, has never won a war. But never lost a negotiation.

The U.S Defense Department argues that the Soleimani assassination “was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans,” though did not go into detail. “Soleimani was a murderer, responsible for the deaths of thousands, including hundreds of Americans. But this reckless move escalates the situation with Iran and increases the likelihood of more deaths and new Middle East conflict. Our priority must be to avoid another costly war,” the statement said.
