Two days ago in Ghana at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial quote “I am not African because i was born in Africa I an African because Ghana was born in me” We are with 10 of our Tina’s Angels and Richard’s Warriors and our to mentors @keneshahemmings and @fabkasi.We got to take 10 of our kids to Ghana for a week and it makes the experience so much more awesome. Sponsored by #essencefullcirclefestival and Waco Theatre Center ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 a life-changing experience❤️” she said.

Tina Lawson also paid a visit to the historic slave dungeons in Ghana, where she joined others to sing the African national Anthem, where she said:

This was the most emotional part of this very emotional powerful day at the slave castle dungeons in Ghana today. I couldn’t stop crying. To be in Those dungeons and imagine the pain and immense suffering of men, women and children were suffocating.

To think that with temperatures as hot as it is here with crowded conditions in complete darkness sometimes as long as a year. Our ancestors survived the worst kind of torture, tells you we as a people can survive anything! Our resiliency and strength is unbelievable. To hear our national anthem and to return back thru those doors knowing that we are still here and that against all odds we are still King and Queens and CEOs Owners of our own businesses, billionaires, Even a president, Is proof!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” she said.
