Prince Harry marks his first Father’s Day by sharing an adorable photo of his 5-week-old son with Meghan Markle, Archie Harrison.
Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle on Sunday 16th June 2019 took to their Instagram page to share the adorable photo, where they captioned it with:
“Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex.”
The new photo of Archie Harrison got over one million likes in the first two hours after it was posted and the numbers are increasing.
In the photo, Harry can be seen cradling Archie in his arms and the newborn is grabbing onto one of Harry’s fingers with his tiny little hand.
The couple shared a similarly adorable photo on Mother’s Day — though only Archie’s little feet were visible — which was captioned, “Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honour and celebrate each and every one of you.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced the birth of Archie Harrison on the 6th of May where they shared the good news saying:
“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.”
The announcement continued, “The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thanks members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.”
