The London stabbing has continued, as yet another incident has been reported of a man stabbed to death, making it the third person that will be knifed to death since Friday, June 14th 2019.
According to earlier reports, two teenagers were killed within 12 minutes in gun and knife attacks in different parts of London.
A police report states that the London stabbing and killing started on Friday afternoon when two teenagers were attacked with the first incident taking place in Tooting and the second in Plumstead – 12 miles apart.
Three men were also stabbed in a separate attack outside a Tube station in the early hours of Saturday morning. Then, on Saturday afternoon, a man in his 30s was stabbed and was reported dead a few minutes later on the scene by the Police, in Tower Hamlets, in East London.
These incidents will not be the first, as London has the highest records of a knife attacks in the United Kingdom, where you rarely hear of gun-related violence.
The Metropolitan Police have released a statement saying the investigation has commenced on the attacks while asking people to come forward to give a statement that will help the investigation.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan took to his twitter condemned the attacks, saying:
“I am sickened to hear that two young lives have been ended within minutes of each other in Wandsworth & Greenwich,”
“Our overstretched police are working around the clock to keep Londoners safe. They need our support to end this scourge of violence.” he said.
Police were first called to Wandsworth, southwest London at 4.42 p.m. local time (11.42 a.m. ET) on Friday after an 18-year-old victim was stabbed. He died at the scene, and six males, all aged between 16 and 19 were arrested.
Then, at 4.54 p.m., armed police were called to reports of a shooting in Woolwich, south-east London, where a 19-year-old had been shot. He also died at the scene, before three boys and a girl, all aged 16 or 17, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
Finally, at 3.22 a.m. on Saturday morning, three men were stabbed in Clapham, south London, and four other men were arrested.
