Tony Parker the San Antonio Spurs ex-guard, on Monday, took to his social media page to announce that he is retiring from NBA at 37, and after four championships to his name.

The French man Tony Parker taking to his Twitter account, put out this tweet to say that he is leaving the NBA. He said:

“It’s with a lot of emotion that I retire from basketball, it was an incredible journey!”
“Even in my wildest dreams, I never thought I would live all those unbelievable moments with the NBA and the French National Team. Thank you for everything!” he said.

Parker continued his announcement saying:
“A lot of different stuff ultimately led me to this decision. But, at the end of the day, I was like, if I can’t be Tony Parker anymore and I can’t play for a championship, I don’t want to play basketball anymore.”

The 37-year-old played 18 seasons in the NBA and averaged 15.5 points, 5.6 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game. He played his final season with the Charlotte Hornets after playing the first 17 years with the Spurs.

He won four titles with the team and was named NBA Finals MVP in 2007.
