Eden Hazard confirms he is leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid, after helping the London team to beat their rival, Arsenal 4-1 to win the Europa League in Baku.
The Belgian who had a fantastic game on Wednesday night, netting a brace, told journalist after the game that it was his final game in the Blues colours, as he is leaving for a new challenge in Spain, and hopefully with Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard who had an assist and a brace in the Europa League finals in Baku, was approached by some BT Sports Press crew shortly after the match, to ask him about his next decision, and he had this to say:
“I think it’s a goodbye, it’s time for a new challenge,” said Hazard
Although he did not say whether or not he is headed to Real Madrid, we all know his preferred destination is Real Madrid, and the La Liga club already approached Chelsea for the Belgian, with the London club slamming the sum of £130million on their superstar.
Speaking further on his imminent move from Chelsea to Real Madrid, he said he has decided and now other negotiations are between the two clubs to come to an agreement. He said:
“We will decide in a few days, the only goal in my mind was to win this final, I already made my decision and now I am waiting for both clubs, my dream was to play in the Premier League and I did it for one of the biggest clubs, so maybe now is the time for a new challenge, “

Eden Hazard since joining Chelsea, had made 352 appearances with 110 goals for the club. He will surely be missed by the London club, and especially the fans and the entire English Premier League.
