Brazilian Lucas Moura was the hero of the night for Spurs, as he fired a hat-trick against Ajax from two goals down to book an all English Champions League final. The game which was the second leg of the second semifinal game between Ajax and Spurs, ended 3-3 on aggregate, with Spurs advancing on away goals rule.

Spurs who nobody gave the chance to even qualify out of the group stage of Champions League or overturn the result by Ajax at the Whitehart lane some dayd back, on Wednesday night did the impossible. They beat Ajax at home by 2-3 to continued the drama of Tuesday, where another English team,  Liverpool overturned a 3-0 deficit against Barcelona, beating the Laliga giant and Messi by 4-0.

The result on Tuesday and that of Wednesday’s, marks one of the historic nights of the UEFA Champions League final.

The game saw the Dutch side already with away goal advantage going into Wednesday match, extending that lead as early as in the 5th minute, and doubled that some minutes later. But Spurs’s physicality and running around troubled the tired looking Ajax young team, which led to a comeback from the English Premier League side.

All the goals scored by Spurs who were missing Harry Kane came from Lucas Moura, as he was always at the right place and at the right time. His hat-trick sets up an epic battle between two English teams that will be looking to win a trophy to finish the season on a good note for themselves and fan.

For Spurs, it will be a huge achievement to win the Champions League, same season or year they moved back to their renovated stadium. While for Liverpool, who on paper needs the win the most, given how they have approached this season, and the disappointment of last season. They  will be giving their all to take home that trophy, haven missed it last season to Real Madrid.

Playing at the Estadio in Madrid will be a good memory for Liverpool if they finally win the champions league, against an opponent they are used to in the local League.
