Rihanna meets with popular Jamaican reggae dance-hall king, Mark Myrie who is famously known as Buju Banton, for the first time since his release from a US jail. They met at his concert in Barbados, as Buju continues his tour reconnecting up with his fans.

Rihanna shared the photo of Buju Banton and herself, with her spotting a braid, as she posed for a photo with the reggae dance-hall King. The Fenty owner, who is yet to drop a new album, as she has been busy with her make-up and fashion business, sharing this photo of Buju Banton and herself, could be her teasing her fans on a possible collaboration with Buju Banto on her yet to be named new album…and it will be fire!!

Buju Banton on his part, since getting out of jail where he spent 7-years, is one of the few reggae artists that can still boast of a huge following and die-hard fans across the world. He was once accused of putting out a song that led to the killing of gay people in Jamaica.

Raised in Salt Lane, a poor area of Kingston, the man nicknamed Buju by his mother honed his craft as a child, performing live with sound systems under the name Gargamel at aged 12 and recording by the following year, 1987.

Jamaica and the world fell for Banton in the early 90s, when he established himself as arguably the most significant dancehall artist in the country. His songs are evergreen, that his reason he has been getting all the love since he arrived from jail.

Rihanna meets with Buju Banton at his concert in her home town of Barbados, as she continues to remind everyone, where she hails from. She put up the photo with a caption of the flags of Barbados and Jamaica.
