Everton thrashed Manchester United at the Goodison park 4-0 to deny Ole Gunnar the opportunity of going third on the Premier League table head of Arsenal and Spurs.
Everton who were fantastic in the game played on Easter Sunday, saw them thumped Manchester United who had before now enjoyed good results at the Goodison park. The goals came from Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lucas Digne and Theo Walcott, as the giant beaters continue their good run at home against big six or big seven.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer whose managerial pedigree was put to test one more time at the Goodison Park, after escaping Watford and West Ham, had struggled with his changes, as he recorded his 6th defeats in eight games since the Champions league game against Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
He was hoping for a good result at Everton, but was humbled with four fantastic goals by Everton. The game will go down on record as one of the worse games ever played by Manchester United and the second game Ole will be losing by a wide margin since signing as a manager for the Red Devils.
Manchester United were not just thrashed 4-0 by Everton, but humiliated at Goodison, as the game statistics showed Ole’s men were below poor and this should worry the manager and United fans, as the team prepare to face two of the toughest opponent in City and Chelsea.
