Breaking: Buhari signs N30,000 Minimum Wage bill

President Muhammadu Buhari has just signed the new 30,000 minimum wage bill into law.  The President signed the new bill into law at the State House in Abuja.

Recall that the Senate passed the National Minimum Wage Bill, approving N30,000 minimum monthly wage  for Federal and State workers.

The proposed new National N30,000 minimum wage was presented to the National Council of State on Jan. 22 after which it was sent to the National Assembly.

The Federal Executive Council meeting also deliberated and approved the minimum wage after which it was transmitted to the National Assembly and subsequently passed by both chambers of the legislative arm.
