The Memorial Service for late American rapper, Nipsey Hussle at the Staples Centre will be open for the public, especially for his fans and friends, as tickets to the event have been made free.
The organizers have earlier complained or better still feared that the 8,000 capacity Staples Centre will not be enough space for the huge anticipated crowd that are expected to grace the Memorial service, so tickets are already being giving out freely to fans to attend, while they watch to see if the crowd will surpass their expectations.
Staples Center had on Monday made an announcement that: “Nipsey Hussle’s Celebration of Life” will take place Thursday, “promptly at 10 AM.”
As for how to get tickets, a limited batch will be made available starting Tuesday, and Staples has announced they will be “complementary.
Security has also been considered by event organizers, and the details of the memorial make it a clear metal detector, visual and bag checks will be done upon entering the venue.
Also, no recording devices are allowed inside during the ceremony.
Luckily many of the street gangs in Los Angeles have come together for peace in the wake of Nipsey’s murder, so there should not be any expected beef among guests. But even with this, the Police are not taking chances as they are working and making sure of a safe and secured Memorial Service.
