Cardi-B defends her dirty past, as an old video of her admitting to drugging and robbing men of their valuables surfaced online three years after.
The rapper who was obviously not impressed of her past actions, but shocked and embarrassed that a video she did a long time ago and ought to have disappeared (three years ago actually) could just pop up from no where, and now she is trending and dragged on social media, as fans are calling for the R Kelly and Bill Cosby treatment on her…
Cardi-B defends herself, as she apologized for her past misdeeds, while also reminding others that no body is innocent as one way or the other, people did what they had to do just to survive at that particular time….not that she is excusing herself, but somehow trying to shut down the onslaught of criticism she has been receiving since the video surfaced online.
In responding to the criticism the rapper took to her Instagram to put out some words, saying:
“I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world wit (sic) a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my shit…I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options,”
“Whether or not they were poor choices at the time I did what I had to do to survive.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper claims, “The men I spoke about in my live (sic) were men that I dated that I was involve (sic) with men that were conscious willing and aware.”
After it had made the rounds on social media, the hashtag #SurvivingCardiB gained popularity, obviously referencing R. Kelly’s documentary, “Surviving R. Kelly.”
“All I can do now is be a better me for myself my family and my future.”
This new revelation which she also admitted to, could have serious negative impact on her musical career, and endorsement, as these unidentified men and some others who are not connected to the story, would want to cash in on her…and given that is just three years ago, these men just found a way of making cool cash off Cardi-B, even though she said the men she drugged and robbed agreed to it…lol
The crime here is a class B felony charge, as she risk going to jail for at least 10years if found guilty…I feel the legal cases will flood in, in a matter of days if not hours from now.
