The family of joycelyn Savage the girlfriend to R Kelly fears their daughter might be smuggled to Dubai by the embattled singer if granted permission by the Court to travel.
According to sources close to Joycelyn Savage, the family fears R Kelly might not return, which ultimately puts their daughter’s life in danger. It was alleged that the family believe that R Kelly wants to take Joycelyn and another girlfriend, Azriel Clary, out of the United States to some safe haven in Dubai where he could escape criminal prosecution.
Although there is no confirmation of all these allegations from R Kelly or his lawyers neither can we substantiate these claims, given the amount of legal charges R Kelly is presently facing, including the case of a child support, and given that the United States as it stands presently, does not have an extradition treaty with the United Arab Emirates, even though there are thousands of American troops in the country and Dubai’s Jebel Ali port is a major port of call for the United States Navy…there is every reason to doubt the intentions of R Kelly, which the family have clearly exhibited here.
R Kelly’s lawyers a few days ago, filed a report to get permission for his client to travel, as the attorney claimed that there is no way the U.A.E. would not “jeopardize that relationship to harbour R. Kelly,” being the fears already expressed by the family of Jocelyn Savage.
Kelly also claimed to have a meeting set up with the Royal family, which worries the Joycelyn Savage family even more. They feel if Kelly has the means to establish high-powered contacts in Dubai, they could facilitate any accommodations and arrangements he needs to permanently set up shop out of the United States.
During a Friday appearance in court, Kelly was showered with good wishes from fans, but his motion for travel was continued and will be decided at a later date. He later went shopping at the local mall in Chicago and was seen pacing around talking on his phone.
As we reported, Kelly’s publicist, Darrell Johnson, is no longer helping facilitate a meeting between Joycelyn and her family. We’re told he had originally promised a face to face, but never followed through on setting up an actual meeting.
