Popular Nigerian singer, Iyanya Mbuk, known in the entertainment business as just Iyanya, has continued his rants and dragging of his former business partner, Ubi Franklin, and this time on Cool FM Radio Station where he insists he owns Made Men Music Group (MMMG).
The Kukere crooner who had previously appeared in an interview with Bolanle on the Juice, was on Monday night with popular and controversial OAP on Cool FM Radio station, Daddy Freeze where he said he started MMMG, financed it and due to his friendship with Ubi Franklin which he described as more of a brotherly love, he allowed him and others to manage the business on his behalf.
Iyanya Mbuk who seems not to be holding back on his shocking revelation, explained how Emma Nyra gave them the name Made Men, as she believed then that she sees them becoming very rich and famous in the future. So they formed Made Men Music Group MMMG, using the name Emma Nyra has suggested.
Mr Iyanya Mbuk told Daddy Freeze who was clearly enjoying all the drama between Iyanya and Ubi Franklin that he was the major financier of MMMG and everything about the company was him.
Freeze asked him if he has a receipt or a document to show for all his claims, Iyanya Mbuk who sounded not too convincing, said No. But he has witnesses that are still alive that can attest to all his claims on how he financed MMMG. He made mention of Augustine Miles Kelechi know better as Tekno, Emma Nyra and other present and former MMMG artists.
On Tekno and how they signed him, he said Tekno joined Made Men after Kukere and that if Tekno can say the truth, he knows how Ubi duped them.
“Ubi said we should sign this guy (Tekno) but I told him we do not have much money to sign Tekno as I felt let’s wait after we make more money, then we can sign Tekno. We were making money but it was in the hundreds of thousands and not millions. But first, we registered MMMG all in the spirit of brotherliness as I thought back then”.
“Tekno opened for me in America, and it was all messed up, as, on that tour, Tekno said to me that Ubi told him I do not like him”
“I was shocked and I asked Tekno why would I hate you?.
But that is not all, Tekno told me he has been making money but getting nothing.
Iyanya said he was shocked when Tekno told him he made over 30million naira from Duro and Ubi kept that to himself.
Tekno wanted to know what was happening to all the money he was making, and when he was confronted by Tekno, he told him he did not take his money, as he too was in the dark as to the finances of the company.
Daddy Freeze then asked him to explain the issue of company registration and the settlement documents Ubi Franklin posted on his Instagram.
Iyanya said after they Registered the company in 2012, he got 400 shares from Corporate Affairs Commission out of 1,000. But said when he signed the paper, Ubi took the paper and left and after like a year with him believing he co-own MMM, but something told him to go to CAC to confirm what the deals were, and he found out that his name was not there as a director but that of Ubi Franklin and his brothers.
Iyanya said when he confronted Ubi Franklin with his discoveries, Ubi begged him and even the President of Nigeria Football Federation Mr Amaju Pinnick sensing what was going on, had to call them both to settle the matter.
On the settlement agreement documents Ubi posted online, Iyana said they are all lies and it is shocking to him.
Freeze asked Iyanya how come he never spoke or talked about all these until now, he said:
He said it took him this long because it has been depressing for him as it was more of a mental thing to him.
Iyanya Mbok said:
“I told Idris owner of Temple Music all these, as I felt I got everything under control and my brother Ubi was covering everything so there was no need to I bother.
“Idris Olorunnimbe my brother covering everything for me,” he said.
On his interview on Juice, he said the producer and anchor refused to tell him and his crew the questions beforehand, so everything he said was just him being real and true to himself. It is not for cheap publicity as Ubi Franklin had accused him of, he said.
Freeze who could not believe his ears, somehow believed or sided with Iyanya, saying he never had issues with Ubi not until he came up with the tithing thing where Ubi referred to his preaching against tithing as nonsense. But he is willing to invite Ubi to CoolFM to come and clear his name.
Iyanya said he wants Nigerians to know the truth, and not that he is after Ubi Franklin, but to put things out there, so people can know who he truly is.
Freeze then asked, If you were not a director why do you need to be signed before to be released.
“My twitter password is still with him, and each time I ask for my password he gives me fake password”
On Don Jazzy:
I thought everything was really cool, but Don Jazzy and Idris of Temple had their personal issues…Jazzy is a leader, personality is awesome…but I had to leave.
“One of the reasons I have to be on this show was because of the settlement Ubi posted on his IG talking about how he has settled me,” Iyanya said
“We had a long battle…after giving up my shares and tried to move on, he seized IG password…Ubi betrayed me and rather than prove me wrong he is posting settlement documents. He should post the document when the company was first incorporated in 2012 and not 2016 after Amaju Pinnick settled us”
Don’t show us settlement papers, as those documents were forged” Iyanya said.
“The stamps are fake and seven years stamp cannot be that fresh” referring to the documents posted online by Ubi.
“When I was with MMM I was not mentally alright and I trusted my friends to look out for me, but I shot my self on the foot…I am daring Ubi to show the people the real and first CAC form when MMM was first incorporated…one day Tekno will come out and say the truth” he said
“Why did he not post documents from 2012,” Iyanya Mbuk asked
“Bro (referring to Ubi Franklin) let me be very honest with you, and you knoq I don’t lie and people respect me for that, and also because I am talented. I am not doing it for cheap publicity…you have to change and stop lying as those who you have hurt will open up soon…I do not have a problem with you and I have never mentioned your name in anywhere before…I have been fighting this war since the first day I left…this guy almost ruined my life” he said.
…he then dropped this line:
‘I have new single out which is titled ‘no drama’
“Please, Nigerians ask Ubi If truly I sold my shares where is receipt of the shares? Prove your Innocence by showing us agreement from when we started in 2012.”
If I sold my shares, how much did I receive from it? I did not want anything from it either…I gave him the company I built with my money” he said.
