Lady Gaga has dismissed a possible romance with Bradley Cooper after their steaming performance of the love song ‘Shallow’ at the Oscars, saying people saw what they wanted them to see in that performance, which was love.

“You had such a connection with Bradley that instantly and I guess this is a compliment, people started saying Oh, they must be in love,” he asked.

Lady Gaga who is an Oscar winning songwriter came with her statue along for the interview, gave a massive eye-roll, and then went in:
“First of all, social media quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet. And people saw love and guess what that’s what we wanted you to see” she continued by saying:

“This is a love song, ‘Shallow’. ” The movie, A Star is Born’ is a love story. We worked so hard, we worked all week on that performance.
Bradley who and you know, I never relinquish control about a live stage performance and I have done a million of them, but he directed this film and he directed obviously, the musical moments in the film, and Shallow the moment in the film. “

“So I knew that he had the vision for how it should go and so I was like ” What do you think Bradley? and he laid it all out” she said.

According to the report by People, Lady Gaga and Bradley shared a piano bench, singing a stripped-down take on the track cheek-to-cheek before affectionately gazing into each other’s eyes, with Cooper wrapping his arm around Gaga’s waist.

Instead, Gaga and Cooper smiled and hugged as they walked off the stage. Their embrace continued backstage as the two were met with a swarm of claps from production staff.

“Did I nail it?” asked Gaga. Taking in the congratulations, she looked at Cooper and said, “I’m so f—ing proud of you!”
