The organizers of the annual Grammy awards have on Monday night, denied the report that a list of winners for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards had been leaked online , saying the report is false.
A spokesperson for the Annual Grammy refuting the claims said:
“There is no legitimacy to this. GRAMMY Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the GRAMMY Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by Deloitte in sealed envelopes.”
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 10th 2019 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Alicia Keys.
Rapper Kendrick Lamar has received the most nominations with 8 and Drake came in second with 7. Cardi B and Childish Gambino are tied for third with 5 nominations.
