The Force Public Relations Officer PRP Mba has a few hours ago while appearing on a popular breakfast show on Channels TV Sunrise Daily, gave more clarification on the latest move by IGP Adamu on SARS reform, saying the decentralisation of SARS is to correct the abnormality in the system, restore order and bring Police closer to the people.
PRP Mba said:
Reforms on SARS is not going to be cosmetic, what we are doing now is to correct the abnormality, restore order and bring the Police closer to the people”
Decentralisation of SARS is to ensure unity of command and control and in line with democratic and community policing. This is just a tip of the iceberg among very many reforms IGP MA ADAMU mni is bringing in the Force”

Special Election Investigation Teams (SEIT) is a proactive ad-hoc unit set up by the IGP, it will be disbanded when we are done with elections and all election matters.
Decentralisation of SARS is constitutional, Sec 215 explains this initiative. It will correct every anomaly, bureaucratic bottleneck &bring the Police close to the people. The IGP is committed to this willpower & has directed the command CPs on his policy direction in this regard” PRP Mba said.
