Veteran Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle has a few hours ago taken to her social media page to say that the statement: “The Show must go on” is the most abused statement in the Nollywood industry, as she congratulates Genevieve Nnaji on her new film, Lionheart.

Ireti Doyle who while praising her fellow colleague in the Nollywood Industry, Genevieve Nnaji for producing Lionheart, and for doing almost the impossible in an Industry where producing a movie or film, is like committing suicide as the right structures are rarely in place.

Going back to her statement: “The show must go on” said this and the ” I am helping your career” which has been what Nollywood has been known for, has to stop, saying the show cannot go on unless the right structures are in place.
Ireti who was making this statement when she did a repost from an Instagram handle who had the opportunity of meeting with Genevieve, said she likes everything about Genevieve Nnaji, while also praising her recent effort.
See the post put out by Ireti Doyle, and let’s hear your thoughts on this:

“The show must go on” has to be one of the most abused statements in our industry. (followed by I’m helping your career)
Dear Mr/Madam Producer, the show can’t go on unless the right elements/structures are in place. I like everything about @genevievennajiMore grace to you my Lady!?

I could easily have passed out the first day I met @genevievennaji when I arrived in Enugu for Lionheart shoot but I pulled through ??.She was so kind to me it was surreal! •
I honestly feel like there were so many reasons why I wouldn’t have been a part of the project, I mean I had exams here in Lagos and we shot all the way in Enugu but she made it work. It definitely would have been easier for her to choose another person to be Onyinye, instead she paid for flights (3 times) to bring me to Lagos for my exams and back to Enugu for work. I missed the flight for my final exam (clinical exam ??‍♀️) and I remember her cracking jokes about how I’ll use Lionheart motors back to Lagos ???. I was so worried cause missing clinicals meant an automatic extra year, I had no idea how I was going to make it to Lagos before the next morning. Genny organized a car, a driver and police escort to bring me for my clinical exams and take me back to Enugu?❤️??.

Because of you @genevievennaji I featured in Lionheart, because of you I didn’t have to choose one, because of you I was able to do BOTH! Because of you I am even more sure now that I can do anything and there are no limitations nor boundaries.
I was able to be your Onyinye and I got an A in my clinical exams ?????❤️. •
I am so grateful for all you did to bring this to fruition! I appreciate you and I love you! ❤️ @genevievennaji THANK YOU!
