Popular author of ‘Children of Blood and Bone’ Tomi Adeyemi has taken to her social media handle to blast renowned and best selling author, Nora Roberts for copyright infringement, after she released her new book with almost similar titles.
Nora Roberts is trending on social media, because of Tomi Adeyemi, who accused Nora Roberts of shamelessly profiting off her work, after she released her new book, “Of Blood and Bone”
Nora Roberts is a household name when it comes to publishing and she is that one author that has sold millions of books. She also has over eleven best-selling books, amongst other accolades as an author.
Tomi Adeyemi whose book talks about the Africa god, Orisha after seeing Nora Roberts book cover and title, took to her page to say this:
“It would be nice if an artist could create something special without another artist trying to shamelessly profit off it”

A few hours ago, she later updated her post, saying Nora Roberts and herself have cleared the air on whether or not it was an infringement. She also said that Nora admitted that prior to her releasing her new book, she has never heard of “Children of Blood and Bone”.
Tomi Adeyemi updating her fans on her page said:
update: Nora was kind enough to reach out & explain that today was the first she’d heard of my book. After talking to her, I believe our titles were created in isolation.
I’m grateful she explained & I’ve apologized, but I wanted to address it here as I know others were upset too
…so, guys looking at these books what do you think, and also since Tomi Adeyemi is new in this business, is it a case of Nora Roberts trying to have her cake and eat it?
