Popular American singer and producer, Usher a few hours ago, has taken to his social media page to celebrate one of his sons and his first, with Tameka Foster, who clocks 11-year-old today.
Usher Raymond jnr was Usher’s first son born in 2007 and almost drowned in a swimming pool in 2013, which led to a serious custody battle with Usher and Tameka at that time. Usher, in total, has five children.
Taking to his page, he wrote:
“I can remember when I turned 11 (forever ago) it was the beginning of me understand that I had began to grow up and that I needed to care about somethin’…. Bad breath, do use of deodorant, a career, other people, how I treated them, and what mattered…at least to me. I began to understand that if I were to be great at anything I’d have to start somewhere, with somethin.
The way I carried myself would speak to who I was and what my life would look like. Sure…you got your plate full with things that really matter, like Pokémon cards, V bucks, GameStop cards, Fortnite, Tom Clancy and homework. “Priorities” Know this Son…I love the U you are. I wish you passion for what you love and hopes that you have compassion for others. Thank you for picking me as your dad and coming to me when you did. Thank you to your mother for delivering you and the hospital and hands that handled you….You gotta believe in U more than anybody. If you don’t believe, NO ONE WILL. #HappyBirthday #URV” he said.
His baby mama, Tameka Foster, taking to her social media handle to also celebrate their son, wrote:
“HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY to my amazing son Usher. Ush you are resilient and strong… Been through a lot as a kid and living with Type 1 diabetes like a champ! Such a sharp, funny, analytical, extremely generous boy. I’m so proud of who you are. Beyond proud to be your Momma. Self proclaimed Pro-Gamer!! My very own “Boss Baby”, you are “YOLO” personified!
