A former Minister of culture and Aviation, who is also a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has a few hours ago taken to his social media page where he alleged that if President Muhammadu Buhari led administration does not stop what he called ‘slaughtering’ of the Shi’ites Muslims in Nigeria, the group will be left with no choice other than to form a local version of the dreaded Middle East Shiite militant group, Hezbollah, together with others, and confront him with the world greatest ever conflicts.
Femi Fani-Kayode who was recently asked to pay the sum of N100million naira alongside others over the disappearance of the leader of the proscribed terrorists group of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, sees President Muhammadu Buhari as the cause of the state of insecurity in Nigeria, and Nigeria could become history if he is re-elected come 2019.
He said that the President is slowly pushing the the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (Shi’ite) into a militancy group that will be too much of the country to bear, given Boko Haram and other Terrorist groups.
Fani-Kayode in his statement, said, President Buhari is a danger to Nigeria and the Nigerian State. He said for Nigeria to attain peace and Unity, Nigerians must first take back power from the President come 2019.
In a series of tweets, he said:
“Buhari is pushing the Shiite Muslims down the road of militancy and insurgency by slaughtering them in their thousands for no just cause.
If he continues to do so they will eventually form their own local version of Hezbollah and fight back.That,coupled with a strengthened and ever confident Sunni Boko Haram and ISWA army waging war against the Nigerian people would be too much for our nation to bear.
If Buhari comes back in 2019 Nigeria may be saddled with the greatest conflict between Shiite and Sunni Muslims in world history.
Millions would die and the Nigerian state would crumble into a thousand pieces. Buhari is divisive and destructive. He is a danger to Nigerian unity and to the Nigerian state. If we wish to restore peace and unity to our land the first step we must take is to get him out of power.”
