Liverpool will end Arsenal's 13-match unbeaten run- Alisson

The goalkeeper of Liverpool Alisson is confident that his team will on Saturday end Arsenal’s 13-match unbeaten run, as the two teams clash tomorrow.

While Arsenal after their defeat by Manchester City and Chelsea have gone on a 13-match unbeaten run, Liverpool are also unbeaten in their ten games played so far in the Premier League. The two teams will be looking to claim up to the table further as they both will be going for the win come Saturday.

Alisson who have enjoyed this run with Liverpool in the Premier League will be aiming to extend the run to eleven games, as both Chelsea and Manchester City will not be playing till Sunday. If Liverpool wins tomorrow at the Emirates Stadium, they will go top, until Chelsea and Manchester City games.

Speaking to Liverpool’s website, Alisson said:

“It’s definitely going to be a great game and we shouldn’t fear anybody,”

“We’re confident in our quality. We appreciate the quality of the opposition but we can’t show any fear on the pitch, we need to be brave, we need to do our best to play our best football and play the way Klopp wants us to on the pitch. It’ll definitely be a great contest.

“A team with intentions of winning the Premier League needs to be winning this type of game so we’re going there with a victory in mind while keeping our feet on the ground and knowing we’ll need to give sweat, blood, and tears to win the game.”

On Arsenal’s unbeaten run and manager Unai Emery, he said:

“He’s a big name in football – he achieved great things at Sevilla. He is a great manager in world football and he took charge of a great club with a lot of quality,” said the No.13.

“I don’t think [their form] comes as a surprise but I believe they’ll find our team very hard work on Saturday. Likewise, we’ll have our work cut out as well. There’ll be a lot of work for both defences in this match.

“It’ll definitely be an intense game. I also believe it’ll be a game of very high technical quality, two teams playing really well.

“Arsenal didn’t start well but they have really found themselves now and we can only get better in this competition. We need to aim to get better with every game. We know we can achieve great things this season.”

On how prepared he is for the game, he said:

“I’m not going to tell you my secrets!” he replied. “I watch certain things and I’m very focused on what I can do on the pitch rather than what the opposition can do.

“There are certain things that don’t change regarding the role of the goalkeeper but of course we do study certain things about the opposition to be aware of during the match.”
