Theresa May Jeered for her Black History Month comment. The British Prime Minister and veteran model and actress, Naomi Campbell.

Black History Month: British Prime Minister Theresa May has been reminded of the Windrush scandal, hours after meeting with a popular model, Naomi Campbell to mark the special day at the State Room, Number 10 Downing Street London.

The veteran British model was welcomed to the most famous street in the United Kingdom if not the world, which is Number 10 Downing Street, alongside other Ambassadors invited by the British Prime Minister to celebrate the day and reminisce on Black History Month and the contribution of the black race to the growth of not just the United Kingdom, but other Nations outside of the Commonwealth States.

Theresa May while receiving Naomi Campbell who her self is also British, praised the contribution of African and Caribbean people in the United Kingdom, saying without them the country would not have been what it is today. She said:

“I am proud to be a supporter of #BlackHistoryMonth – and to celebrate the immense contribution of African and Caribbean people without whom our country wouldn’t be the country it is today.”

Theresa May after saying all these was quickly reminded of the Windrush Scandal, by some who feels her statement about Africans and Caribbeans was a mere statement from a woman whose government was behind the Windrush scandal. See some of the reactions:

@theresa_may is proud enough of #BHM to hang around with celebrities, but no proud enough to dismantle the institutional bias that exists at all levels within society.
This is just another ploy to con the electorate that the @Conservatives care about Race Equality!

Must be a different Theresa May to the “deport first hear appeals later” one..
