Romelu Lukaku seems to have had enough of Manchester United fans, and football pundits in the English Premier League, criticizing his football, as he insists if Juventus comes calling, he will grab the opportunity.
Romelu Lukaku who once said Manchester United is the biggest club in the world, after making his big money move from Everton, in an interview said, Juventus have a great project in place and are constantly doing great things each year, by winning trophies…ouch!
Lukaku who is yet to win any major trophy as a footballer, when asked if he would take an offer from Juventus if they come calling, said:
“Why not. I hope It happens” He said.
He stated further by declaring his admiration for the club, saying:
“Juve have a great project in place and they just keep going. Every year they try to get stronger.
“Without a doubt, Juve are one of the two or three best teams in Europe. They’ve got a great coach on the bench and extraordinary players in every area of the team.
Cristiano Ronaldo stands out, but watch out for the others too. Paulo Dybala is already impressive and getting stronger, while I love Douglas Costa.”
The Belgian who is the all-time leading goal scorer with the Belgium National team, added two more to that, making it 45 goals, after netting a brace against Switzerland at the ongoing UEFA Nations League.
Romelu Lukaku has so far this season, played 11 games with just four goals, and with Juventus coming to Manchester United for the Champions League game, the pressure will be on the 25-year old to prove himself against a team of world class players.
If Romelu Lukaka should move, and Chelsea star man and Belgium National team captain Eden Hazard sees his dream to Real Madrid scale through, these could signal a mass exodus of Belgium players out of the English Premier League, especially the most skillful and talented of them all…we are watching to see what happens in the next transfer market.
