Luis Enrique has a few hours ago, released the Spanish Squad list for the forthcoming UEFA Nations League against England and Wales next week.

Luis Enrique in an unusual way to put up a short video where he went to the dressing room of the national team to prepare the shirts of the internationals that will do battle in the games against Wales and England.

The list released by Luis Enrique had some notable omission which has attracted some negative reactions, but he has proved himself since taking over the national team job after a disastrous world cup outing in Russia.

Also, their UEFA Nations League so far, has been a positive one, as they have recorded some remarkable results against teams such as Croatia and England that did so well at the just concluded FIFA World Cup. See the full list:

The leaving out of Barcelona’s defender Jordi Alba and the inclusion of English Premier League defender Jonathan Castro Otto of Wolverhampton Wanderers has dominated the negative reaction from the list released. But if anything, they both have had a good season for their respective clubs, and do deserve to be on the list…but one has to be dropped for the other to make the list, which was what the manager did here. share your thoughts on our comment box:
