Klopp has promised he will not be making any big changes in the Liverpool game against Napoli on Wednesday, as the German tactician while hoping for a win against Napoli, insist is only focus his the UEFA Champions League game against Napoli and not the big game at the weekend against Manchester City.

Klopp who already left Italy with a 23-man list that consists mostly of first team players with a surprise inclusion of Origi, said he is not worried about the game at the weekend, but will make some changes but will not be a major one, as they go into Napoli’s game, with last season’s experience in mind.

While speaking to the club website Liverpoolfc.com, he said:

On Manchester City game:

“It’s no problem. It’s really difficult to think about anything other than the next game – we only think about the next game, but not the next game after the next game! It is always like this,”

“In the moment it is all fine and we have to use it. We will see, maybe we will make one or two changes or whatever, maybe more, but it’s all about this game. It’s the only way I understand it.

On teams fitness after a very business weekend at the Stamford Bridge and what challenges playing on Wednesday, then meeting up with Manchester City who are playing Tuesday:

“We are in good shape, we have a good rhythm and that’s something we have to use so let’s try our best. It’s not that you can say, ‘OK, Champions League in Naples, I will make five or six changes’ and then for City you make six changes again, then who are the other six because the six that played already, they cannot play on Sunday… it’s difficult really.

“We will think about this game and then we will see who we can use for City.” He said.

Klopp manged his 600th games as Liverpool’s manager a few weeks ago, and he is hoping to cap the incredible record as Liverpool’s manager with a silverware this season, after coming so close last season in Europe.
