Ramos feels Real Madrid are even more hungrier to win the UEFA Champions League now, than ever before, even after winning the competition for the last three seasons.

Sergio Ramos who was speaking at the UEFA Champions League award night in Monaco, said Real Madrid want to win it the 4th time in a row, to become a legend, an achievement no club has done in the modern era of the game and the competition.

While speaking to press on the chances of Real Madrid, given that Cristiano Ronaldo whom almost every wins of the club has been attributed to him in the last nine years and has always been about him, said:

Sergio Ramos who was named champions League Defender of the Season for the second year running,  insists Real Madrid remains Real Madrid irrespective of who comes or leave, the club will always be bigger than every individual.

“The UEFA Champions League is always a special competition and last season we were able to remind people of that. We did this  by winning this trophy three tomes in a row” He said.

“So why can’t we win it for the fourth time in a row? You will always have to dream, aspire to achieve things and believe in the team…that’s what we do and we want to be one of the leading light in this competition once again” He said.

Ramos enjoyed yet another exceptional season with Real Madrid, missing just two games of their triumphant UEFA Champions League campaign under former manager, Zidane.
