Funke Akindele has taken to her social media page to celebrate her 2nd wedding anniversary with husband Abdulrasheed Bello popularly known as Skillz.
The Nollywood actress, producer-director in celebrating the special day, put up some photo gallery during their private wedding two years ago and captioned it with these beautiful words. She said:

Funke Akindele and Skillz got married on August 23, 2016, in London United Kingdom in a private wedding ceremony held for just a few close friends of hers and her husband Skillz and of course the couples family members, unlike what happened in her first and failed marriage.
Her fans and public got to know a few months later that she has been remarried to her best friend and a colleague in the entertainment industry.
Funke Akindele whose popular Television series ‘Jenifa’ is one of the hottest and most watched series in Nigeria and West Africa, faced a lot of criticism (right criticism) when she got married to her first husband, Kehinde Oloyede, who many at that time said was already married and alleged to have some issues dealing with women.
The marriage only lasted a few months, as the actress called it off, claiming he was abusive both physically and emotionally, and that was the end of their marriage.
The wedding was one of the biggest societal weddings as celebrities and top government officials all graced the ceremony to honour the actress, but the marriage crumbled a few months later, making it the shortest known celebrity marriage in Nigeria.
Abdurasheed Bello also was once married and with three lovely grown-up children who are all in good relationship with Funke Akindele who has adopted them as her own children.
Funke Akindele immediately the news broke about their marriage, and given her previous experience, apologized to her friends and fans saying:
“The decision to do it quietly was right for us and we pray for the understanding of our close friends and fans at this offer of a lifetime moment. At a good time, we shall look back and in appreciation of divine grace and your support, we shall celebrate milestones and where we are in life.” she had said then.
Clearly, she envisaged the future, and now they are celebrating their beautiful life together as husband and wife, and all we can say here is, happy anniversary and more blessings to the couple.
