Bayern and German International Jerome Boateng have been reported to have rejected Jose Mourinho’s approach for his signature.

The Bayern Munich big central-defender was quoted to have told Jose Mourinho that he will not leave Bayern for Manchester United, as his future is with Bayern.

Manchester United a few days ago were heavily linked to the German International as reports have it that some officials from Jose Mourinho and United were in Germany to have a possible talk with the player, and his agent, but failed to reach any meaningful agreements as Boateng quickly shut down any talk of him leaving Germany.

Jose Mourinho will kick-start his season in three days against Leicester City and will be looking to have one more defender to his squad, which he feels are still not strong enough for the competition ahead.

The club has also been linked with other premier league defenders, and since the board is insisting on selling before buying, Jose Mourinho could go into the new season with the same defense he did not trust last season.
