The official spokesperson of the President Buhari’s 2019 Presidential campaign and a Lagos based Lawyer, Festus Keyamo following the hitch free National Convention of the All Progressive Congress held on Saturday-Sunday at the Eagles Square Abuja, has taken to his social media page to mock the national chairman of the major opposition political party in Nigeria, Mr Uche Secondus and the Peoples Democratic Party on how the party waited endlessly hoping for a call to hear the breakup of the APC that never came.
He said this on his social media page with an image describing the chairman. Though he did this without making mention of any name or names, common sense tells us he was most definitely referring to the PDP and its National Chairman Mr Uche Secondus in his hilarious message.lol
I just love how these politicians play their game. The message and the image to describe the national chairman of the opposition party is just too hilarious and also creative as well. I cannot wait to see the twitter exchange between these two Political parties in the coming hours as Festus Keyamo seems to have just drawn the first blood.lol
Taking to his twitter page, Keyamo who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, put up a skeletal image handling a phone, using it to describe his opponent. He said, despite the fact that while the APC National Convention was ongoing, some PDP members were somewhere hoping and praying for a mass exodus or a possible walkway by members from the APC to the PDP to embarrass the President, but unfortunately for them, that was never the case.
Mr Keyamo clearly making reference to an event that happened almost four years ago, during the PDP National Convention under the former President Goodluck Jonathan regime, where some eight sitting Governors of the PDP alongside some party members led by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar stagged a walkout from the convention, a move which later led to the defeat of the PDP in the 2015 elections.
According to Mr Keyamo, the successful convention of the APC have shamed those hoping for a repeat of the similar event, as the APC Convention did not only go smoothly as planned, nobody decamped as members showed unity during and after the results of the convention.
This Mr Festus Keyamo saw as a victory over the opposition political party and their chairman, which prompted this particular tweet from him:
