The embattled Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye has once again commissioned yet another project in his constituency even in the face of many legal battles. The Senator who shared the photo of him donating a 500KVA transformer to his constituency, took to his Instagram page to share the project.
The Senator who was once declared wanted by the Nigerian Police after some of the suspects arrested for gun running and political thuggery and kidnapping escaped from prison. This happened just days after the Nigerian Police alleged that the arrested suspects have confessed implicating the Senator for being their sponsor. Senator Dino has since written all the Foreign Missions in Nigeria, alleging threats to his life, is now waiting till when the case will be taken to court to clear his name.
There is also another court process ongoing about his recall from the National Assembly by his Constituents, a matter which has been taken to the Supreme Court for a final judgement to ascertain how the recalling process will follow or if there should be any in the first place after Appeal Court ruled in favour of INEC.

The tempo of development, progress and constituency projects in Kogi West under Sen Dino Melaye is steady and unprecedented.
For now, Ayeteju/Agbajogun/Amuro extension of electricity and installation of (500KVA) power transformer now (completed). In a related development within the heart of Mopa town, completion of power enhancement transformer and installation of (500KVA) each at Bareke Odole Mopa, and the premises of Mopa City Hall along hospital road both in Mopa town, Mopa Amuro LGA. (Completed)
Also within mopa Amuro LGA is the ongoing construction of Agbajogun/Amuro township road.
This road project will be completed soon. Construction of two solar powered borehole (Type B) in Ayetoro Gbede ward 1 Ijumu LGA and IIuke Kabba Bunu LGA (Ongoing).
In Koto Karfe, Kogi LGA, the construction of Manyere Igbogo road project is ongoing with 72% project execution
Again, we have construction and installation of (2NOS 300KVA Transformer Relief Sub-station in Ogidi-Ijumu LGA) and (Asuta, Kabba-Bunu LGA, all in Kogi West.
