The former Aviation minister and aide to former President Obasanjo have taken a swipe at both President Buhari and Archbishop of Canterbury, Mr Justin Weibly, and the United Kingdom. The Peoples Democratic Party Chieftain Femi Fani Kayode who took to his social media to take a swipe at the government, said the meeting between President Buhari and Archbishop of Canterbury in London, was part of the hidden agenda by the government of the United Kingdom to once more, foist President Muhammadu Buhari on Nigerians come 2019. While boasting on his social media handle and dropping names, Femi Fani Kayode insists any attempt towards this will be resisted by the people. He said this in his tweet:

The attempt by the British govt. and intelligence agencies, using a discredited and same-sex-marriage-loving @JustinWelby,to help to prop up a failed tyrant,an ethnic cleanser and a genocidal maniac who hates and kills non-Fulanis,Shia Muslims,IPOB youth and Christians, will fail.

Once again, yet another attack on the President, and nothing to show Nigerians why his party is more qualified or what they can do better if elected 2019, having admitted having done wrong for 16years. I mean, the politicians themselves are the ones not giving Nigerians that opportunity to elect a leader they feel will have them at heart and not just a ‘talk-no-do’.

All political discuss have centred around Nigerians making sure they get their PVC and attacks from both sides. But help us make use of our PVC the right way, they have failed to do just that. What are you bringing to the table that’s different from what we have seen or heard before?…to me, it doesn’t really matter who decides to run for the presidency as the constitution has granted us that right as Nigerians. What matter most is what you are selling to the people…the election of 2015 is a perfect example how you can sell a candidate and the people will buy it. It also does not necessarily mean because you are the incumbent that it’s 100% certain you will win the elections.

So, for me, I need to hear new and workable political ideologies and not name dropping and show of hatred which does not truly represent who is a Nigerian
